Job Description
Master Field Engineer overseeing building automation installations for Carrier. Ensuring project success through technical authority, team accountability, and dynamic field support.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the full execution of professional building automation installations—from field mobilization through final commissioning—under any operational conditions.
- Mission-Critical Delivery: Install and deliver complex, high-risk, and business-critical systems.
- Team Accountability: Take ownership of quality outcomes for the entire field team.
- Capability Building: Actively develop the next generation of field leaders.
- Branch Risk Management: Partner with Supervisors, Project Managers, and Sales to assess and mitigate technical, schedule, and contractual risks across the branch project portfolio.
- Mastery & Growth: Demonstrate total mastery of ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed to support dynamic field demands.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
- Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.
