Job Description
Sustainability & Environment Manager for Original Equipment Solutions driving environmental strategies. Supporting compliance, audits, and sustainability initiatives in a dynamic automotive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Business Area OESL in safeguarding environmental protection and sustainability
- Ensuring and improving compliance with specific internal and external requirements (reporting and requests) and sustainably enhancing individual performance
- Evaluation of future projects with clients
- Development of strategies regarding sustainability
- Assessment of the relevance of legislative changes
- Contribution to the preparation of sustainability reports
- Coordinate internal and external audits in line with applicable requirements
- Analyze the performance of the environmental management system and derive improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, engineering field is preferred, especially environment/sustainability and/or natural science
- Several years of professional experience working in related roles, such as specialist, engineer, or coordinator
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and managing incidents
- Experience working in the automobile industry
- Knowledge of internal/external regulations and standards
- Experience ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, including conducting audits and inspections and responding to regulatory inquiries
- Fluent English and German language skills in written and spoken
- Ability to communicate effectively
