Job Description
Associate Technical Course Developer creating curriculum and multimedia training for DocuSign products. Develop and test courses, collaborate with SMEs, and maintain translated materials remotely in Brazil.
Responsibilities:
- Use curriculum, lab, and video development processes to develop materials for instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced, video, and blended training solutions
- Focus on full Docusign product suite including IAM, eSignature, and CLM curricula
- Review and test training for roles including product administrators, end users, implementers, workflow developers, architects, API developers, and AI specialists
- Learn and follow defined development processes and use development tools to complete tasks
- Update training materials for existing classroom and online courses, test and troubleshoot course activities, and contribute to process evolution
- Report to the Manager, Technical Course Development as an individual contributor
- Review and test course and lab content, assist in development of training content and videos, perform content conversions and migrations, build and configure exam content, maintain translated course materials, collaborate with SMEs, implement feedback, attend alpha/beta/instructor-readiness events, perform peer reviews, build technical and instructional design knowledge, master development tools, support other department initiatives as identified by the manager
Requirements:
- Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience working with basic technical knowledge and basic instructional design, training development, or training delivery for a technical audience; or experience supporting training within a technical support, technical consulting, engineering, or other technical organization
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to support design and development tasks for technical course curriculum
- Preferred: Content samples of instructor-led, self-paced courses, and/or video-based tutorials
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to research, test, and learn software products with guidance
- Preferred: Basic graphics development and visual design skills
- Preferred: Experience in industry-standard course development applications and tools like Articulate 360 and Camtasia
- Preferred: Basic project management skills
- Preferred: Additional language proficiency in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese
- Preferred: Basic understanding of APIs, application best practices, and programming languages such as C# and Java is useful
- Preferred: Content samples encouraged
