Job Description

Lead Aleph Pro's business development and partnerships for OCCRP; build commercial strategy, negotiate contracts, and grow user base.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the core business development, sales, and partnership strategies that will drive Aleph Pro’s global adoption and long-term sustainability.
  • Act as the primary ambassador for Aleph Pro, identifying and cultivating relationships with key partners in journalism, advocacy, and civic tech to build a powerful user coalition.
  • Take the lead in drafting, negotiating, and managing the contracts and service agreements that will form the bedrock of our client relationships.
  • Develop and implement high-impact outreach and public relations campaigns that introduce Aleph Pro to the world and engage the communities we aim to serve.
  • Design the end-to-end processes for client onboarding and support, ensuring our partners are set up for success from day one.
  • Collaborate closely with our product and development teams, translating market feedback and client needs into actionable insights that shape the future of the Aleph Pro platform.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and partners, representing Aleph Pro at events, conferences, and meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A proven history of success in business development, partnerships, or a similar client-facing role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and client-facing abilities.
  • Confidence in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts and service agreements.
  • Proven knowledge of SaaS products and subscription/tier-based business models.
  • Ability to create and execute outreach, business development, and PR strategies.
  • Highly organized, with strong project and process management skills.
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and build structures from scratch.
  • A natural collaborator who understands how to work effectively with technical and product teams to achieve shared goals.
  • A proven track record in business development, partnerships, or a similar client-facing role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Direct experience working with subscription-based or tiered pricing models.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating contracts or service agreements.
  • Experience managing external communications and representing an organization to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
