Job Description
Lead global partnerships across traditional finance and crypto for OpenFX’s cross-border payment infrastructure. Drive revenue and strategic growth with banks, liquidity providers, and crypto entities.
Responsibilities:
- OpenFX is building cross-border payment infrastructure to move money as data; seeking a Strategic Partnerships Lead to drive growth through relationships with banks, liquidity providers, and crypto institutions.
- Develop and execute a global partnership strategy across traditional banking and crypto sectors; identify, pursue, and secure high-value partnerships globally.
- Drive revenue growth through partner channels; lead business development initiatives to acquire new institutional clients and partners across traditional finance and crypto sectors; structure complex commercial agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner institutions; create and implement partner success programs for long-term value and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new partnership opportunities in FX and crypto; conduct strategic analysis to inform priorities and market entry strategies.
- Collaborate with technical, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth integration and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Build, manage, and mentor the partnerships team as the company scales into new markets.
- Qualifications/What we are looking for: Must-haves: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred; 8+ years of experience in business development or partnerships roles within financial services or fintech; strong network; proven track record of closing deals; deep understanding of FX markets, banking infrastructure, cross-border payments.

Requirements:

- Proven track record of closing complex, high-value partnership deals (minimum $10M+ in aggregate deal value).
- Deep understanding of FX markets, banking infrastructure, and cross-border payment systems.
