Job Description
Buchhalter/in managing financial accounting, payroll, VAT filings, and year-end preparation for an international German tax consultancy. Fully remote from Germany with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage day-to-day financial accounting
- Prepare payroll and salary statements
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Prepare VAT advance returns
- Record ongoing business transactions
- Reconcile accounts and clarify outstanding items
- Communicate with clients, tax offices, and government authorities
- Support tax analyses and financial reporting
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or degree specializing in accounting or taxation
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Good knowledge of German tax and VAT law
- Experience in payroll accounting
- Independent, structured, and meticulous approach to work
- Excellent written and spoken German
