Job Description
Staff Accountant managing full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and close processes for multiple entities at ReWorks Solutions. Improving accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities
- Manage accounts payable posting and cash postings
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries
- Record and maintain accruals
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions
- Complete the application form and upload a CV
- Participate in a one-way video interview
- Speak with a Recruitment Specialist about experience, availability, earnings, and the role
- Review independent contractor hours, pay, and contract terms
- Participate in client matching, interviews, and feedback processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities
- Strong experience with Accounts Payable (AP), cash postings, payroll journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement review
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Sage Intacct experience is a strict requirement
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accounting processes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Process-improvement mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
