Job Description
Options sales lead acquiring and retaining high-volume traders for Public’s AI-powered brokerage. Evangelizing AI Agents, API access, and options tools while channeling trader feedback to product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own the acquisition, advocacy, and retention of high-volume options traders at Public
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential prospects through Public-generated and outbound channels
- Identify and work with external partners where useful to achieve acquisition goals
- Find sophisticated options-trader flow and bring that volume to Public within regulatory limits
- Evangelize Public's AI Agents, API access, and options tooling to the trader community
- Demonstrate Public's API and agentic capabilities credibly to traders who build their own systems
- Act as the connective tissue between the product, engineering, and trader community
- Channel trader feedback to product and engineering
- Independently own the approach to achieving clear acquisition targets with substantial autonomy
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience working in a premier consumer finance and/or capital markets organization
- Series 7, Series 4 and/or 63/66 (or immediate path to completing)
- Deep, hands-on expertise in options trading: single-leg and multi-leg strategies, spreads, volatility, and the mechanics of how serious options traders actually operate
- Track record of sales and/or direct customer acquisition success
- Experience working within regulatory compliance constraints to deliver business outcomes
- Ability to build processes and approaches for acquiring clients from a blank slate
- Creative problem solver on behalf of company and clients
- Ability to represent the firm and speak publicly, including in options-trader communities
- Intellectual curiosity

- Bonus: Existing relationships or credibility within options-trading communities (Discord, X/FinTwit, Reddit, trading meetups, etc.)
- Bonus: Experience working with or selling to API-based and high-frequency options traders
- Bonus: Equity capital markets, trading, and/or research experience
- Bonus: Experience with markets and financial data (e.g., exchange data, options chains, fundamental data)
- Bonus: Ability to use modern AI tools to scale your productivity and impact
- Bonus: Fluency with data (and interest in learning) SQL and/or Python programming languages
