Job Description
Oracle database administrator working with complex requests in a technological environment. Focusing on optimizing and maintaining Oracle databases while ensuring data integrity and performance.
Responsibilities:
- TEHORA is currently seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to contribute to the administration, maintenance, evolution, and optimization of Oracle databases. The successful candidate may be assigned on-demand engagements within a complex, cloud-oriented technology environment.
- Without being exhaustive, the services and deliverables the successful candidate will be expected to provide include:
- Administer and maintain Oracle databases;
- Ensure data security, integrity, availability, and performance;
- Participate in Oracle migration activities, ideally in a Windows environment;
- Collaborate on initiatives to facilitate migration to the cloud;
- Document physical models and update tables when required;
- Write installation guides and all relevant technical documentation;
- Perform monitoring activities necessary for smooth operations;
- Diagnose incidents, propose fixes, and support IT teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a systems development or maintenance analyst working with a relational DBMS;
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle;
- Participated in an Oracle migration within the last 3 years, ideally in a Windows environment;
- Experience administering databases in a cloud environment;
- Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13+, partitioning, materialized views, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, Data Guard, and RMAN;
- Experience with Windows Server environments from 2012 to 2025;
- A degree in computer science or a related discipline is an asset;
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
