Job Description
Licensed brokerage operations professional answering calls and processing complex account transactions for Thrivent, a membership-owned financial services organization. Providing accurate service remotely to members, field professionals, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming member and field phone calls
- Process new account documents, maintenance requests, transfers, and distributions
- Analyze and process non-routine and complex new business and service transactions, including not-in-good-order items
- Make outbound calls as required
- Provide services as part of a brokerage operations functional team
- Assist team members, manage workflow, flex for functional coverage, and collaborate with service teams
- Maintain understanding of brokerage operations products, services, affiliated NFS and Thrivent systems, and operational policies and procedures
- Build and maintain professional relationships with field professionals, the clearing firm, and internal business units
- Analyze, approve, and provide timely service while meeting service-level timeframes
- Communicate account operational status accurately and clearly to field representatives and clients
- Achieve or exceed department quality standards
- Support development of policies, procedures, and quality assessments
Requirements:
- High school education
- 1–2 years of related experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/65, or Series 66, required or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and applicable financial reporting tools
- Ability to work day and/or evening shifts according to volume forecasts
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, full time
- After training, ability to work a schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Central
