Job Description

Advanced Technology Solutions Specialist improving Pearson assessment technology through complex systems analysis and AI-assisted practices. Driving scalable solutions, data insights, and cross-functional delivery readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives involving multiple Pearson systems, workflows, data domains, integrations, teams, or stakeholder groups
  • Use AI-assisted analysis for requirement synthesis, gap detection, stakeholder alignment, process comparison, dependency identification, and data insight generation
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, decision forums, design alignment sessions, and cross-functional requirement reviews
  • Translate strategic business objectives into product/system capabilities, process models, integration requirements, data requirements, operational impacts, and delivery-ready backlog artifacts
  • Own requirements strategy, traceability, dependency analysis, impact assessments, and risk identification
  • Drive alignment among Product, Engineering, Architecture, CX, Data, Security, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders
  • Promote maintainable, reusable, holistic solutions that reduce unnecessary customization and technical debt
  • Define and improve requirements, user story, process flow, data mapping, and stakeholder documentation standards
  • Develop reusable AI prompts, checklists, and templates
  • Provide advanced data analysis and insights for business decisions, prioritization, operational improvements, and reporting
  • Mentor peers through artifact review, facilitation support, domain coaching, and feedback
  • Support release and operational readiness by ensuring decisions, dependencies, signoffs, documentation, and handoffs are complete
  • Identify AI-enabled process improvement and automation opportunities across Pearson VUE workflows, documentation, routing, analysis, and reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5–8+ years of business analysis, business systems analysis, systems/product analysis, data analysis, or technology delivery experience
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile, hybrid, or enterprise delivery environments
  • Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, reporting, operational workflows, and platform/process modernization
  • Advanced requirements leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder influence
  • Strong systems thinking across business processes, applications, data, integrations, security, operations, and support models
  • Ability to resolve ambiguity, synthesize complex information, and recommend practical options
  • Strong written communication, executive-ready summarization, and decision documentation
  • Advanced data analysis and ability to define actionable reporting, metrics, and dashboard requirements
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and raise the quality of analysis across teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, product delivery, backlog management, and release readiness
  • Ability to balance customer needs, operational constraints, scalability, maintainability, risk, and delivery feasibility
  • AI fluency and ability to identify practical, governed AI use cases
  • IIBA certification, Agile certification, Pearson Professional Assessment partner certification/licensure, IT-related badges, and/or test assessments experience strongly preferred but not required
