Job Description
Full Stack Agile Developer building scalable React, Node.js, and NestJS applications for TaskUs’s outsourced digital services business. Designing APIs, microservices, and secure enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade web applications across frontend and backend systems
- Build modern, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript
- Develop robust, secure, and scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS
- Architect reusable, modular, and maintainable solutions following industry best practices and clean architecture principles
- Implement highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Contribute to technical architecture, system design, and engineering strategy discussions
- Design scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve platform capabilities
- Participate in technical design reviews and architectural governance
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise-scale application development
- Strong expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, NestJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, OOP concepts, design patterns, and software architecture principles
- Experience building scalable REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Firestore
- Experience with ORM technologies such as TypeORM or Prisma
- Familiarity with caching and in-memory data stores such as Redis
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and responsive design principles
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and application security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated deployment strategies
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
