Job Description
AI Engineer developing Python-based LLM agents and RAG systems. Building tailored AI and technology solutions for clients across Germany and South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Development and production deployment of LLM-based agents and RAG pipelines
- Design of AI architectures including retrieval, embeddings, vector databases and tool integration
- Connecting AI components to existing systems and data sources
- Development of clean, high-performance services primarily in Python
- Integration with .NET/C# components and, if required, MS Dynamics environments
- Designing interfaces and end-to-end data flows
- Working in a documentation-compliant manner
- Participation in reviews and continuous improvement of solution quality
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the Lekker Code team
- Active contribution to building out the AI competency area
Requirements:
- Several years of software development experience with a clear Python focus
- Clean, maintainable code
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Practical experience with LLMs, agent frameworks and RAG, e.g. LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Understanding of embeddings, vector databases and prompt/context engineering
- C# / .NET is an advantage but not required
- Openness to additional technologies depending on the project
- Experience in agile projects, especially Scrum or Kanban
- Business-fluent German (verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse)
