Job Description
AI Intern supporting data preparation, machine learning models, and AI use cases at Terracon, a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm. Gaining hands-on experience with mentorship and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of AI use cases through data preparation, model building, evaluation, and documentation
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory analysis
- Implement and evaluate machine learning models using appropriate performance metrics
- Contribute to model tuning, validation, and documentation of methodologies and results
- Conduct literature reviews and research to support solution development and stay informed on relevant AI advancements
- Provide regular progress updates and engage in feedback sessions with the project supervisor
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Ideal candidate has less than one year remaining to complete their degree
