Job Description

Analytics Intern improving Excel reporting, data accuracy, and automation for Conifer Health’s healthcare operations. Supporting healthcare trend research and business-function projects remotely in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business function through project-based assignments focused on data accuracy, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiency.
  • Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all metrics.
  • Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to ensure correct calculations and proper linkage across worksheets.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements within reporting processes.
  • Complete assigned projects within the internship timeline, delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Support day-to-day initiatives and special projects.
  • Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to the business function.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage data with precision.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications; training will be provided as needed.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting structure.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • SharePoint administration and support.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime when required.
  • Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher; sophomore, junior, or senior level preferred.
