Job Description
Application Developer/Programmer supporting PeopleSoft Financials projects remotely. Ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and collaborating with various technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for PeopleSoft Project Implementations
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Partner closely with PeopleSoft Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle, CAR, and external stakeholders
- Assist with testing patches and fixes
- Identify risks and obstacles within a project
- Update manuals, job aids, SOPs, training materials, and other documents as needed
- Deliver weekly status reports outlining work accomplished
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in application development
- Proficient with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2
- Skilled in Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, and BI Publisher
- Knowledgeable in Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management
- Thorough understanding of State of Oklahoma Accounting procedures, policies, and standards
- Direct experience working with the State of Oklahoma and/or prior government agency experience preferred
