Job Description
Energy Storage Applications Engineer at EnerVenue developing optimized system designs for energy storage solutions. Leading technical pre-sales efforts and collaborating across functions to ensure valued deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical Pre-Sales Process: Serve as the primary technical partner to Sales throughout the commercial lifecycle—from initial qualification through contract execution.
- Develop robust energy storage models that quantify lifetime performance, degradation, efficiency, availability, and ROI.
- Strengthen Technical Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical due diligence requests with speed, accuracy, and credibility.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop application notes, white papers, case studies, and technical content that articulate differentiated value.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including system design, applications engineering, integration, technical sales support, and service.
- Strong working knowledge of secondary battery chemistries, degradation mechanisms, system architectures, and operational limitations across diverse duty cycles.
- Familiarity with competitive energy storage products in the market and the ability to clearly articulate differentiated technical value.
