Job Description
AutoCAD Mechanical expert supporting Mercor’s AI-training projects through 2D mechanical drafting and engineering-standard detailing. Fully remote independent contract work on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
- Apply AutoCAD Mechanical expertise to support AI model training
- Perform 2D mechanical drafting and detailing to engineering standards
- Complete project work independently on a flexible schedule
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Provide services without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
Requirements:
- Hands-on, real-world experience with AutoCAD Mechanical
- Must already have AutoCAD Mechanical installed/available on your own PC running Windows and be able to open it today
- Must provide own software, hardware, and Windows PC; Mercor does not provide software licenses, virtual machines, or hardware
- Must be able to capture screenshots with more than 2.5 megapixels
- Must use either a qualifying single high-resolution monitor or a dual-monitor setup with two 1920×1080+ monitors captured as one spanning image
- Independent contractor status
- Must be legally able to work without H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship/support
