Job Description
Applied AI/ML Engineer building NLP, LLM, and knowledge-graph systems for Intangible’s interactive 3D creative tools. Developing AI assistants that help users visualize and communicate spatial ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop assistive AI technology for interactive, 3D workflows
- Use the technology built to improve people's ability to communicate with interactive 3D
- Reduce the time needed to develop, visualize, and share ideas
- Build NLP pipelines that extract intent, entities, and semantic structure from user input
- Analyze opportunities to improve AI system performance and personalization
- Integrate cloud and client LLMs to drive creative workflows
- Design and maintain knowledge graphs representing world, character, and story data
- Prototype and apply AI features with product and engineering teams
- Fine-tune or augment foundation models for domain-specific tasks
Requirements:
- Evidence of exceptional ability in software development
- Understanding of ML principles, algorithms, and evaluation metrics
- Strong experience with modern NLP/LLM frameworks, such as Transformers and LangChain
- Experience with data storage and retrieval using vector databases
- Experience with graph databases, such as Neo4j, RDF, and property graphs
- Experience developing and operating agentic backend experiences, tools, and optimizations
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries, such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Ability to ship features end-to-end
- Experience building AI copilots
- Experience building recommendation systems
- Experience with cloud operations, containerization, IaC, and multi-tenant systems
- Background in computational linguistics or knowledge representation
- Ability to work in European or North American timezones
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future sponsorship
