Job Description
Risk Advisory Associate supporting BRL Risk Consulting’s governance, risk management, and compliance projects. Analyzing controls, assisting audits, and developing pragmatic client solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside experienced RAS colleagues on consulting and audit projects
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management, internal control, compliance, and internal audit systems
- Analyze business processes, risks, and controls
- Develop pragmatic solutions for governance structures together with clients
- Contribute to internal audit projects, including interviews, document analysis, process and control assessments, and follow-up on action items
- Prepare for and conduct interviews and workshops with the project team
- Collaborate with clients’ business functions and management
- Prepare audit and project documentation and contribute to reports and management presentations
- Support project management and coordination
- Contribute to the ongoing development of consulting approaches, methodologies, and services
Requirements:
- Successfully completed or nearing completion of a degree in business administration, business information systems, or a comparable field
- A university degree or approximately one to two years of initial professional experience, for example in consulting, audit, or an industrial or services company
- Interest in risk management, internal audit, compliance, corporate governance, controlling, or accounting
- Analytical and structured approach to work
- Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new companies, processes, and issues
- Willingness to take on responsibility early
- Team player who is willing to contribute their own ideas
- Confidence in communicating directly with clients
- Very good German language skills
- Good English language skills
- Willingness to accompany clients on-site, domestically and internationally, as required
