Job Description
Associate Data Manager reconciling and validating laboratory data streams for LabConnect. Delivering compliant clinical-trial data transfers and resolving client queries.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile regulated laboratory data streams for clients
- Remediate omissions, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in client data streams
- Review laboratory data files against data transfer specifications
- Create test laboratory data for test transfer files
- Create low-complexity study laboratory data transfer specifications and communicate amendments to clients
- Suggest and contribute improved real-time validity checks in the LabConnect central laboratory information management system
- Maintain data transfer specifications as directed by the study Data Manager
- Formulate systems and ensure projects meet strategic needs
- Initiate and deliver scheduled or requested data transfers to clients or designated recipients
- Verify data transmissions comply with file structure, format, layout, and transfer specifications
- Ensure consistency of analyte reference ranges, decimal precision, units of measure, and correlation factors
- Formulate, install, and verify laboratory unit conversion tables
- Respond to client queries about clinical data streams and document outcomes in client databases
- Coordinate with internal teams and Investigator Support Services to resolve queries and remediate errors
- Maintain study schedules according to contracted agreements and client communications
- Perform routine work under the direction of the group manager
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or university program certificate in a biologic science concentration preferred
- Four to six years of experience in the clinical trial industry strongly preferred
- An equivalent combination of above education and experience will be considered
- Laboratory experience preferred
- Experience in clinical trial protocol development and FDA 21CRF11/GCP strongly preferred
- Certification as an ASCP Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to established timelines, processes and procedures

- Organization, time management, communication, multitasking, interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and email
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
