Job Description

Associate Director advancing Natera’s Signatera clinical trial matching products. Driving oncology diagnostics strategy, commercialization, enrollment growth, and cross-functional product execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and commercialization of Signatera clinical trial matching products and services
  • Support the long-term vision and five-year strategic product roadmap
  • Grow and accelerate Signatera clinical trial enrollment
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to obsolescence
  • Develop and execute the clinical trial matching product roadmap
  • Define and deliver product requirements based on customer needs and operational constraints
  • Oversee product performance and product support across Product Management, Molecular Biology R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development
  • Develop product performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvement strategies
  • Identify business opportunities, create business cases, and build financial models
  • Conduct Voice of Customer interviews, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Define product positioning, market launch plans, pricing, and marketing collateral
  • Present data-driven arguments to align stakeholders
  • Provide regular product vision, progress, and roadmap updates to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in physical or life sciences, statistics, or engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • At least 5 years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting
  • Experience in oncology products, medical devices, or diagnostics is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with large-scale high complexity molecular testing laboratories, particularly in tumor tissue sequencing, is desirable
  • Expertise in the Life Sciences industry is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of technology and ability to articulate customer value propositions
  • Excellent project and process management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and presentation tools
  • Basic financial and economic modeling skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, product development, and project management expertise
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making
  • Ability to communicate regularly with senior leadership
