Job Description
Associate Product Manager supporting BMO Global Asset Management’s investment operations, products, and services. Delivering process improvements, stakeholder support, regulatory controls, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supports and services the Investment Operations function for BMO’s business stakeholders and customers
- Executes investment product and service processes while adhering to financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines
- Advises assigned business groups on solution implementation
- Supports strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Project manages delivery of regulatory continuous documents
- Responds to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers
- Monitors and tracks performance and addresses issues
- Analyzes strategic problems, data, and information to provide insights and recommendations
- Manages vendors and performs oversight and governance in accordance with procurement policies
- Supports change management execution and sustainment activities
- Processes transactions and activities accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory and risk controls
- Checks and reconciles information and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Identifies, analyzes, resolves, or escalates issues
- Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver business objectives and service expectations
- Supports development and implementation of processes, systems, tools, training, and continuous improvements
- Applies BMO’s Risk Management Framework and makes sound, risk-informed decisions
- Works mostly independently
Requirements:
- Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls
- Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business
- In-depth prioritization skills
- In-depth customer service skills
- PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- In-depth verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth collaboration and team skills
- In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
