Job Description
Azure Cloud Administrator responsible for deployment and administration of cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure. Focused on identity management, infrastructure, and security in enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Manage and maintain identity services, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
- Deploy, configure, and support Azure AD components and related services
- Provide day-to-day operational support for cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools
- Implement and manage access controls, authentication methods, and identity protection solutions
- Support cloud migrations, including on-premises to Azure and VMware to Azure transitions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks, policies, and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Senior-level experience in cloud engineering, cloud administration, or network engineering
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) (preferred)
- Experience supporting enterprise or government cloud environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (preferred)
