Job Description
Azure Cloud & Security Engineer building secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for CI&T’s enterprise AI transformation solutions. Managing Bicep IaC, Azure DevOps pipelines, Container Apps, KEDA autoscaling, and cloud security.
Responsibilities:
- Build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting reliable, scalable, production-ready applications
- Own and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep
- Develop and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including deployment promotion from UAT to production
- Configure and maintain Azure Container Apps environments
- Implement and optimize autoscaling strategies using KEDA
- Collaborate with the API Management team to configure and integrate SoFiles storage with the platform
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with relevant security standards and OWASP guidelines
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication, identity management, and access control
- Establish and maintain platform monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Identify infrastructure, security, and deployment risks and implement reliability improvements
- Collaborate with development, security, and platform teams to promote cloud engineering best practices
Requirements:
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of deployment strategies and environment promotion, particularly from UAT to production
- Experience with Azure Container Apps and container-based application deployments
- Experience implementing autoscaling solutions, preferably using KEDA
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, authorization, and identity integration
- Understanding of cloud security principles, access management, and secure infrastructure configuration
- Familiarity with OWASP security guidelines and secure application deployment practices
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams
- Experience integrating Azure storage solutions with API Management services (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Azure networking, secrets management, and managed identities (nice to have)
- Experience with security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security best practices (nice to have)
- Familiarity with high-availability architectures and autoscaling strategies for high-volume workloads (nice to have)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, incident investigation, and platform reliability improvements (nice to have)
- Relevant Azure certifications in cloud administration, security, or DevOps (nice to have)
