Job Description
Mid Back-end Developer at Fin-X, innovating health sector management through technology. Focused on .NET, integration, and high-impact solutions for healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and fix root causes in critical modules, reducing incident recurrence.
- Plan and meet technical deadlines for each project (milestones, change windows, releases, and rollbacks).
- Prepare client environments (configurations, access, parameters) and implement integrations (REST, messaging, webhooks).
- Develop/adapt services and refactor legacy (.NET/C#) code with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, regression) and strengthen observability (logs, metrics, tracing) to reduce MTTR.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and reverse pair programming to accelerate N2 (second-level support).
- Prioritize by impact/severity and align technical scope with business teams (Implementation/Customer Success/Sales).
- Provide clear handovers to Product when a request requires a roadmap change.
- Participate in agile rituals, remove impediments, and ensure SLAs and delivery quality.
- Support vendor governance (scope, acceptance criteria, technical validation).
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related fields (postgraduate studies are a plus).
- Experience: 5+ years in Back-end .NET (C#), working with critical systems and legacy code; proven experience mentoring technically.
- Stack/Practices: ASP.NET Core, background services/workers, legacy code refactoring.
- SQL Server (tuning, indexes, query plans).
- Integrations: REST, messaging (e.g., Azure Service Bus/RabbitMQ), OAuth2/OpenID.
- Architecture: DDD, Clean Architecture, modularization, design patterns.
- Testing: xUnit/nUnit; integration and regression testing.
- DevOps/Cloud: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Portal; Git (GitFlow).
