Job Description
Backend Developer building Python and AWS backend services with Generative AI integrations at AllCloud. Designing scalable event-driven architectures and AI-powered features using AWS Bedrock.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
- Design and implement event-driven workflows using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate business processes
- Integrate and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) with AWS Bedrock to build AI-powered features
- Utilize and manage AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
- Design and build large-scale, high-availability systems with performance, reliability, and security
- Work with microservices and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in backend software engineering
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services
- Python proficiency for backend development
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Step Functions and event-driven architecture
- Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability systems
- Experience with microservices and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience integrating LLMs with AWS Bedrock
- Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
- Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming systems
- Proficiency with AWS observability tools such as CloudWatch and X-Ray
- Background in building complex AI-driven workflows combining structured logic with LLM reasoning
- Proven track record in production-grade systems within financial, enterprise, or other regulated industries
