Job Description
Senior Python backend developer building distributed Azure and Databricks services for Lingaro Group. Designing APIs, microservices, CI/CD workflows, and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
- Develop software across distributed services running on Microsoft Azure
- Work with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless capabilities on Azure
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Work with Docker in production environments
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience in senior-level Python backend development
- Mandatory hands-on experience developing software across distributed services in Microsoft Azure
- Mandatory practical experience with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless capabilities on Azure
- Mandatory strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and services
- Proven experience with FastAPI and/or Django
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows
- Practical experience with Docker in production environments
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle, or very good knowledge of other relational databases
- Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud and backend environments
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate effectively in English
- Kubernetes experience is a plus
