Job Description

Disability Operations Co-op supporting Manulife’s group benefits claims management. Conducting member interviews, maintaining claim files, and coordinating with medical and vendor partners remotely in Quebec.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Case Managers, Disability Specialists, and Associate Managers
  • Make follow-up phone calls and send written communications to Plan Members, Plan Sponsors, medical professionals, and vendors
  • Conduct functional telephone interviews with Plan Members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files
  • Support invoice payments
  • Update Plan Member banking information
  • Deliver disability claims management services for clients

Requirements:

  • Currently studying in an undergraduate program such as Nursing, Health Sciences, or Mental Health
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of claims processing and health insurance
  • Some experience in customer service or administrative work
