Job Description

Bilingual representative supporting U.S. retirement-plan customers at Empower. Handling account changes, loans, withdrawals and plan inquiries in a remote call center.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers and third-party plan specialists
  • Provide customer service for customers’ retirement savings accounts in a call center
  • Educate and empower customers without cold calls or sales
  • Communicate critical plan updates and changes
  • Process contribution changes, loans and withdrawals
  • Process general account changes at the customer’s direction
  • Collaborate with associates, teams and clients
  • Participate in paid associate training and continuous coaching

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher and at least one year of customer service experience, or two or more years of customer service experience
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Availability to work a 40-hour work week outside traditional business hours, Monday through Friday, with an occasional Saturday
  • Capability to work overtime as required based on business need
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection
  • Minimum internet service level of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Ability to connect the computer directly to a modem or router using an Ethernet cable
  • A quiet home workspace for training and work without interruption
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship available, including CPT/OPT
  • Financial services or call center experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn and apply financial industry policies, processes and procedures
