Job Description
Telehealth therapist providing individual, family, and group behavioral healthcare to Maryland children and families. Delivering culturally responsive care in English and Spanish within Backpack Healthcare’s virtual clinical community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical intakes and assessments
- Develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
- Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Support parents and caregivers through education and care coordination
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
- Provide culturally responsive care considering each family’s language, culture, and unique needs
Requirements:
- Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW-C
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
- Bilingual English/Spanish clinicians strongly preferred
- Availability typically weekday afternoons and evenings, 2–9 PM; weekend availability is a plus
- Ability to build a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week
