Job Description
Business Analyst I supporting Horizon’s healthcare operations through reporting, forecasting, root cause analysis, and UAT. Developing data-driven process improvements for New Jersey’s health solutions leader.
Responsibilities:
- Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs as necessary
- Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.)
- Participate in various internal and external project workgroups
- Recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements
- Prepare materials for internal and external audit activities
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management
- Perform research and root cause analysis for customers
- Assist with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in operational role
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred
- Strong Computer Skills, Microsoft Office products to include (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
- Strong Analytical and Interpersonal Skills
- Some travel may be required
- Employees must live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Delaware
