Job Description

Hiring a Business Systems Analyst with experience in Business Analysis for Federated Co-operatives Limited. Role involves collaboration across various business lines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and analyze business requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and workflow analysis.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using value stream mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, or other optimization methodologies to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and streamline workflows across the organization.
  • Perform comprehensive gap analysis between current state and desired future state, documenting findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements, interface designs, and data flow diagrams.
  • Apply business analysis techniques such as wireframes, mock-ups, user stories, use case analysis, and data modeling to define current and future states.
  • Evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sources to identify true business needs and resolve conflicting inputs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support RFI/RFP processes and formulate IT intake requests aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Have 3-6 years of Business Analyst experience with proven expertise in value stream mapping, gap analysis, and process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or business with a focus in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have CCBA, CBAP, or similar business analysis certification OR actively pursuing certification.
  • Have expertise in business requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Are proficient with process modeling and business analysis tools.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
