Job Description
CAM Engineer processing Gerber data, panel drawings, SMT files, and engineering changes for PCB Connect, a global printed-circuit-board supplier. Coordinating factories, customers, and manufacturing partners remotely from the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Check the Gerber data of new orders, providing panel drawings and SMT files
- Review and coordinate factory engineering questions (EQs)
- Communicate with customers when required
- Provide responses to manufacturing partners
- Prepare and follow up on Engineering Change Notice (ECN) documentation
- Prepare transfer order materials
- Provide specifications for quotations
- Report to a CAM Supervisor in China
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of PCB CAM data handling and PCB manufacturing processes
- Experience with engineering software such as Genesis 2000, CAM350, and AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail and a patient, systematic approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a large PCB manufacturing facility
- Availability for long-term night shifts, working from 10 PM to 6 AM
