Job Description

Candidate Experience Specialist guiding Missouri hires through onboarding at student transportation company. Coordinating documentation, compliance checks, training schedules, and candidate support.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide candidates through the full onboarding journey from the official offer of employment to the start of in-person training
  • Coordinate remote, onsite, or hybrid training schedules and prepare candidates for their first day of in-person training
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and providing onboarding support
  • Complete and ensure accurate hiring documentation, background checks, and compliance-related forms
  • Maintain up-to-date candidate progress and documentation records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other company systems
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Employment Standards, Training, Safety, and Operations teams
  • Communicate with training teams and location managers to coordinate schedules
  • Utilize ATS and other tools to manage candidate activity and movement through onboarding
  • Foster candidate relationships, address concerns proactively, and provide timely updates
  • Monitor and report KPIs including time-to-hire, onboarding completion rates, and training readiness
  • Identify and act on onboarding trends or potential delays
  • Ensure recruiting and onboarding practices align with EEO legislation, Affirmative Action, ADA requirements, and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and internal teams

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, onboarding, recruiting, or a related HR function
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Familiarity with ATS or CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High sense of urgency with effective time management
  • Remote work environment with the ability to utilize standard office equipment
  • May require minimal travel to company locations for team meetings or training (if applicable)
  • English proficiency required
