Job Description
Remote CPA managing audits, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance for a US custom-manufacturing company. Providing strategic financial insights and overseeing payables, receivables, vendors, inventory, and China purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, organize, and update financial records
- Perform regular detailed audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments
- Reconcile credit card, bank, cash, and spending accounts daily
- Set up financial accounts as needed
- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
- Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information
- Keep vendor accounts up to date across the organization
- Manage inventory
- Manage China purchases
- Provide financial reporting, ensure compliance, and deliver strategic financial insights
Requirements:
- Excellent English verbal and written communication
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in a relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Preferably experienced accounting/finance employees specializing in US Accounting System
- Familiarity with accounting applications, modules, and financial statements
- Motivation to exceed expectations while working independently
- Ability to adapt to change and have a “can-do” attitude
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, and related tools
- Experience in Procurement and Logistics industry is a plus
- Minimum 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent
- Minimum 4.00 GB RAM
- Windows 10 or Mac OSX; Linux, Unix, and other operating systems do not qualify
- Internet speed of 5.0 MBPS or higher for both primary and backup connections
- Noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port
- Webcam with at least 3 megapixels and 720p recording capability
