Job Description
Change and Release Coordinator managing IT service changes and releases for a major European institution remotely within the EU. Coordinating DevSecOps deployments, ITIL processes, KPIs, and service transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate operational changes and releases of all live service elements, focusing on planning, resource and activity coordination, version control, quality, and risk minimisation
- Report Release and Change Management KPIs and ensure targets are met
- Coordinate with DevSecOps Engineers and technical teams on deployments, automation improvements, and release optimisation
- Collaborate with project and operational teams to implement system changes and releases effectively
- Assist with support model setup and transition of projects and new services into business-as-usual operations
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and third parties to ensure timely change and release implementation
Requirements:
- University degree in IT or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations and/or IT service management and delivery
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned frameworks and structured change and release-management processes
- Excellent understanding and practical knowledge of ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, and Knowledge Management
- Proficiency with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority or competing efforts and adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification (or equivalent) is mandatory
- Excellent command of English
- Agile or DevOps certification and/or project management certification is an asset
