Job Description
Preparedness Advisor selling AEDs, training, and compliance programs for Safe Life US. Managing commercial and public-sector accounts across the Phoenix metro territory.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly and annual quota and related sales objectives
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of new and existing expansion accounts
- Prioritize opportunities to achieve quota and healthy margins through the solutions sales model
- Manage the sales process by understanding decision makers, actions, and timelines necessary to close deals
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
- Act as a program partner, delivering exceptional service and adding value in every interaction
- Create value around AEDs, accessories, first aid, program management, medical direction, and CPR/AED and active-shooter training
- Present Safe Life's full suite of offerings as a turnkey solution
- Educate customers and prospects on solutions, features, benefits, and the mission of saving lives
- Work closely with training and program management teams to ensure expert scheduling and follow-up
- Maintain product knowledge and understanding of AED-related regulations
- Identify industry trends and competitive information and provide company feedback
- Prioritize activities and manage time to achieve objectives
- Interact with sales leadership regarding pipeline progress, challenges, opportunities, sales and contracts, and strategic direction
- Complete order processing, CRM updates, expense reports, and other documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Perform other tasks as necessary to meet individual, departmental, or company objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of related sales experience, including selling a full solution into the commercial space
- Demonstrated consistent, successful sales achievement
- Multi touch point and conceptual selling experience preferred
- Must be insurable and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to travel by automobile or air, including day trips and overnight stays, up to 50% of the time
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to meet customer needs
- Strong sales aptitude and customer service skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel and/or Google Suite
- Ability to quickly and easily learn technology/software programs
- Exceptional professional communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment
- Curious, driven to achieve, and willing to challenge and ask thoughtful questions
- Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking
- Demonstrated ability to positively manage working relationships
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as with others
- Exceptional personal initiative and desire to drive continuous improvement
