Job Description
Freelance Community Ambassador cultivating and moderating Stellaris communities for Paradox Interactive. Managing platforms, player feedback, content activities, and community sentiment reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, grow, and cultivate a healthy, inclusive community for Stellaris
- Manage and moderate assigned community platforms
- Ideate and execute community activities on relevant platforms
- Prepare text copy for community platforms
- Act as a bridge between players and the development team
- Collect feedback and communicate community needs and wants
- Measure the success of content and community activities
- Report on reach, engagement, community feedback, and sentiment to the Community Manager
- Work closely with the Stellaris Community Manager in day-to-day operations
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and composure
- Strong time management skills
- Experience in community-focused projects, such as moderating, administrating, or leading thriving fan communities and initiatives
- Understanding of essential social media and community platforms, including X, YouTube, and Discord
- Experience managing online communities on forums, Reddit, Discord, and other platforms
- Experience producing reports reflecting player sentiment
- Experience creating short-form content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
- Experience with livestreaming
- Interest and experience with Stellaris as a community and a game
- Interest and experience with GSGs published by Paradox Interactive
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other content editing tools is preferable
Benefits:
- Part-time freelance/contracting work
- Hourly pay at a rate defined in the contract
- Flexible weekly hours defined in agreement with the Community Manager, normally not exceeding 20 hours per week
