Job Description

Manager of Construction Operations at SpartanX overseeing service operations and subcontractor performance in residential solar projects. Leading cross-functional collaboration and ensuring high-quality execution in solar energy efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee residential solar service and repair operations across active markets
  • Monitor service performance, completion timelines, and first-visit resolution rates
  • Review escalated service issues and develop corrective action plans
  • Coordinate service resources to ensure timely homeowner support
  • Manage roofing-related project activities, including detach and reset operations
  • Coordinate project timelines between roofing contractors, installation teams, and operations departments
  • Ensure roofing work is completed according to company standards and project requirements
  • Resolve roofing-related operational challenges and scheduling conflicts
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, roofing vendors, and third-party service providers
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, quality standards, and completion timelines
  • Conduct performance reviews and maintain accountability standards for external partners
  • Collaborate with permitting, scheduling, inspections, service, installation, engineering, and sales teams
  • Support operational planning and resource allocation across departments
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor operational KPIs and provide performance reporting to leadership

Requirements:

  • Previous solar operations, construction management, service management, or field leadership experience required
  • Strong understanding of residential solar operations and project workflows
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, or field service teams
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, departments, and priorities simultaneously
  • Professional communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience with CRMs, project management systems, and operational software platforms
  • Strong customer service mindset and operational accountability focus
  • Previous construction operations management experience preferred
  • Experience managing roofing operations or detach and reset projects preferred
  • Experience with service operations and warranty-related workflows preferred
  • Solar industry experience preferred
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
