Job Description
Contractor Sales Representative growing IKO Industries' roofing-material sales across Washington. Building contractor, builder, remodeler, and architect relationships while driving territory demand.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily sales activities throughout the respective region
- Achieve sales and market share growth by generating pull-through demand with contractors, builders and architects
- Develop relationships and grow sales with customers in the territory
- Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand
- Present products to qualified end users on a weekly basis
- Perform product knowledge training sessions with customers
- Submit weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion
- Manage customer accounts
- Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
- Utilize approved sales and marketing tools within budget
Requirements:
- New grad or Junior Sales person opportunity
- Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
- Must be willing to consider relocation for future opportunities
- Demonstrated attention to detail and professional attitude
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Detail oriented with a personal commitment to task completion
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
- Up to 80% travel may be required
- Experience in the building products industry preferred
- Experience with CRM systems preferred
- Sales analyst experience and firm understanding of sales performance metrics preferred
- Previous experience in business-to-business sales or sales coordination preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
