Job Description

Contractor Sales Representative growing IKO Industries' roofing-material sales across Washington. Building contractor, builder, remodeler, and architect relationships while driving territory demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily sales activities throughout the respective region
  • Achieve sales and market share growth by generating pull-through demand with contractors, builders and architects
  • Develop relationships and grow sales with customers in the territory
  • Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand
  • Present products to qualified end users on a weekly basis
  • Perform product knowledge training sessions with customers
  • Submit weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
  • Utilize approved sales and marketing tools within budget

Requirements:

  • New grad or Junior Sales person opportunity
  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must be willing to consider relocation for future opportunities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and professional attitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with a personal commitment to task completion
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
  • Up to 80% travel may be required
  • Experience in the building products industry preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Sales analyst experience and firm understanding of sales performance metrics preferred
  • Previous experience in business-to-business sales or sales coordination preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
