Job Description

Court reporting support specialist coordinating depositions and hearings for Remote Legal. Troubleshooting reporting issues and maintaining service quality across legal operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day reporting operations for depositions and hearings
  • Assist reporting resources in real time by troubleshooting basic issues and escalating when needed
  • Monitor active jobs and identify potential risks or service disruptions
  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Production, and Customer Support to resolve operational issues
  • Track and document incidents, gather details, and maintain records
  • Support onboarding processes and provide guidance to reporting resources
  • Maintain and update internal documentation, SOPs, and operational resources
  • Communicate with reporting resources and internal teams
  • Help ensure adherence to operational processes and service expectations
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company, client, and business information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Familiarity with court reporting, legal workflows, or service-based operations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2–5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in operations support, coordination, or service delivery
  • Experience in legal, court reporting, or related environments
  • Active Remote Online Notary (RON) certification, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Active notary commission in the state(s) where work is performed
  • AAERT CER or CDR certification required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, service-based environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet access
  • Private, secure workspace
  • Ability to work extended periods at a computer workstation
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including frequent typing, keyboarding, and use of a mouse or other input devices
  • Ability to view computer screens, read digital documents, and analyze information for prolonged periods
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required depending on client needs or emergency situations
