Job Description
Advogado criminalista temporário acompanhando procedimento perante o MPRJ. Avaliação de medidas disciplinares na OAB e responsabilidade civil para clientes no Rio de Janeiro.
Responsibilities:
- Review documents and information related to the case
- Monitor proceedings before the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ)
- Track case developments and carry out appropriate legal diligences
- Draft applications, petitions, and submissions as necessary
- Assess the possibility of filing a representation with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Analyze the potential civil liability of the parties involved
- Assess measures for reimbursement or compensation where legally appropriate
- Keep the client informed about the progress of the matter and the steps taken
Requirements:
- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Demonstrated experience in Criminal Law
- Experience or familiarity with practice before the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ)
- Knowledge of disciplinary proceedings before the OAB
- Knowledge of Civil Liability and compensation claims is a plus
- Proactive, strategic, organized, and communicative profile
- Availability for ongoing monitoring of the matter
- Previous experience with cases involving criminal representation, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and ethical-disciplinary matters before the OAB simultaneously is a plus
