Job Description

Customer Operations Automation Lead at Contour Education building AI automation for multiple customer inboxes. Focusing on efficiency improvements through automation and AI in customer operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the automation layer for six inboxes.
  • Set up the system that handles routine volume on its own.
  • Build the knowledge base behind the AI responses.
  • Own the tooling decisions and metrics related to AI interactions.
  • Make humans and AI work together effectively.

Requirements:

  • Independent, inside frameworks.
  • Obsessed with metrics.
  • Relentlessly resourceful with your own time.
  • Ability to build a knowledge base an AI agent can answer from.
  • Configure AI agents, chatbots, and automated routing.
  • Track deflection rates and push them up over time.
  • Operator mindset with a focus on building systems to manage repetitive queries.
  • Hands-on approach, able to write and fix knowledge base articles, chatbot responses, and test flows.
