Job Description
Remote customer service specialist representing biotechnology clients through inbound and outbound communications. Supporting callers, coaching Healthcare Communicators, and protecting patient information under HIPAA.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients on inbound and outbound telecommunications with consumers and providers
- Provide pull-through coaching for a team of Healthcare Communicators
- Maintain excellent quality standards for client programs
- Adhere to program scripts, guidelines, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Accurately collect and capture required information in program databases
- Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills
- Converse empathetically with callers and help them understand medical terminology as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Perform administrative and non-telecommunication duties as needed
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent work-related experience required
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Competency with a computer keyboard and mouse
- Pleasant telephone manner
- Must have stable, reliable, high speed home internet
- Must have a designated separate home office space that is quiet and away from distractions
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 11:30am EST-8:00pm EST
- Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
