Job Description
Cyber Security Engineer protecting HBK’s global enterprise IT environment. Securing cloud, network, endpoint, identity, and AI systems for a global test and measurement leader.
Responsibilities:
- Protect the company's global enterprise IT environment and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business systems
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, identity and access management, and collaboration technologies
- Identify vulnerabilities, monitor security threats, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvements to the organisation's security posture
- Oversee vulnerability management, including security scans, reporting, and distribution to stakeholders
- Assess new AI tooling and models and determine how they should be secured
- Conduct security assessments of infrastructure, network designs, and cloud and on-premise systems
- Perform security posture checks on Microsoft 365, Azure, websites, and other external-facing assets
- Represent security at product review boards
- Support collection and publication of monthly Cyber Security Board data, including patching SLA
- Provide security assessment and architectural review for systems going into Legato
- Participate in the AI governance forum overseeing AI policies, review procedures, and governance
- Create, review, and approve cybersecurity policies
- Lead incident response for security events and data breaches
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations on insider threat investigations, forensic evidence preservation, and regulatory breach notifications
- Arrange and manage security audits and penetration testing
- Prepare and present security reports to management
- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including Tenable and Microsoft Defender
- Monitor and track remediation of identified vulnerabilities
- Monitor and report on user behavioural analysis, awareness training, and social engineering campaigns
- Support compliance initiatives, remediation efforts, and the HBK Cyber Security Transformation programme
Requirements:
- Hands-on security professional experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- Experience protecting enterprise IT environments across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions
- Experience with cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, identity and access management, and collaboration technologies
- Experience identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring security threats, and responding to incidents
- Knowledge of security controls, compliance with industry standards and regulations, security assessments, and remediation activities
- Experience contributing to security architecture and technology roadmaps
- Experience with AI tooling and models security assessments
- Experience assessing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, network designs, and systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and external-facing assets
- Experience with vulnerability management and security posture checks
- Experience leading incident response, including detection, containment, eradication, and post-incident review
- Experience with insider threat investigations, forensic evidence preservation, and regulatory breach notifications
- Experience arranging and managing security audits and penetration testing
- Experience managing security tools such as Tenable and Microsoft Defender
- Experience monitoring vulnerability remediation
- Experience with user behavioural analysis, awareness training, and social engineering campaigns
- Experience with identity and access management improvements
- Experience supporting compliance initiatives and remediation efforts
- Experience supporting cybersecurity transformation programmes
