Job Description
Damper and ventilation hygiene engineers inspecting fire dampers and cleaning ventilation systems for PTSG’s UK fire-safety customers. Delivering compliant, safe services across schools, hospitals, care homes, and commercial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out fire damper inspections and drop testing
- Clean commercial kitchen extract systems to TR19 Grease standards
- Perform ventilation cleaning
- Identify and report defects
- Complete all works safely and to a high professional standard
- Team Leader: lead the team on site, manage productivity, maintain health and safety, and complete accurate reports with photographic evidence
- Engineer: work alongside the Team Leader to deliver high-quality services across a variety of customer sites
- Support compliance for schools, hospitals, care homes, and major UK facilities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing or ductwork cleaning is preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS
- Practical, can-do attitude and good physical fitness
- Ability to work days and nights
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including travel
- Team Leader: ability to lead the team on site, manage productivity, maintain health and safety, and complete accurate reports with photographic evidence
