Job Description

Damper and ventilation hygiene engineers inspecting fire dampers and cleaning ventilation systems for PTSG’s UK fire-safety customers. Delivering compliant, safe services across schools, hospitals, care homes, and commercial sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fire damper inspections and drop testing
  • Clean commercial kitchen extract systems to TR19 Grease standards
  • Perform ventilation cleaning
  • Identify and report defects
  • Complete all works safely and to a high professional standard
  • Team Leader: lead the team on site, manage productivity, maintain health and safety, and complete accurate reports with photographic evidence
  • Engineer: work alongside the Team Leader to deliver high-quality services across a variety of customer sites
  • Support compliance for schools, hospitals, care homes, and major UK facilities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing or ductwork cleaning is preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS
  • Practical, can-do attitude and good physical fitness
  • Ability to work days and nights
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including travel
  • Team Leader: ability to lead the team on site, manage productivity, maintain health and safety, and complete accurate reports with photographic evidence
