Job Description
Oracle conversion consultant designing, testing, and delivering Cloud data migration solutions for ApexIT, a global Salesforce and Oracle consulting firm. Supporting FBDI loads, reconciliations, and client implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and delivery of Oracle application solutions for clients in various industries
- Work with the technical team to populate FBDI templates, load and enhance inbound data, and test conversions end-to-end
- Create functional specifications and data mappings
- Reconcile converted data with legacy and source-system data
- Extract converted data from Oracle Cloud using SQL and Excel and present results to client personnel
- Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Write technical design documents
Requirements:
- At least 6+ years of experience with Oracle Applications, including prior experience performing data conversions and reconciliations into Oracle Applications
- Experience creating functional specifications, working with FBDI templates, data mapping, and reconciling converted data with legacy data
- Basic understanding of Oracle Applications base tables, interface tables, APIs, and FBDI templates used by OIC to load data into Oracle Cloud Applications
- Experience with SQL and Excel to extract converted data from Oracle Cloud, reconcile it with source system data, and present results to client personnel
- Basic understanding of business processes such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Budget to Report, Acquire to Retire, and Payroll
- Knowledge of Hyperion-based EPBCS, SAP Adapters, DB2, and RSTARS (SOAR) is a plus
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent client interfacing skills, including working with IT and business stakeholders and writing technical design documents
- Experience converting master and transactional data in the Finance & SCM area, with at least one end-to-end implementation
- Basic knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT) and Mock Conversion Cycle processes in an Oracle Cloud environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
