Job Description
Engenheiro de Dados desenvolvendo plataformas, pipelines ETL/ELT e soluções de qualidade de dados. Apoio a insights de clientes para a indústria automotiva e redes de concessionários da MSX.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and scripts using agreed-upon standards and tools
- Ensure data quality and implement tools and frameworks to automate the detection of data quality issues
- Profile data sources and develop ETL processes using SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT support tools
- Assist management in creating estimates and proposals for clients
- Plan solutions for data storage, security, sharing, and publishing within the organization
- Create and update process flow documentation and business rules
- Maintain existing pipelines and process large volumes of data as needed
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data platforms that enable insights from customer data
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Warehousing
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries
- Proficiency in Python and various Python libraries
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate the meaning of presented data
- Excellent mathematical, statistical, and logical skills
- Strong reasoning abilities
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated profile with the ability to learn quickly
- Experience building ETL workflows in Databricks
- Understanding of Apache Spark
- Full professional proficiency in English is required
- Ability to make calls, join videoconferences, send emails and messages, and communicate with dealerships and colleagues
