Job Description
Data & Systems Engineer owning NetSuite, BigQuery, and order-process infrastructure. Scaling Doonails’ beauty e-commerce startup through AI-first automation and secure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Take technical ownership of NetSuite and the entire IT-side order process
- Manage, control, and fully optimize NetSuite in-house
- Build and finalize a clean, structured, and stable long-term data foundation in Google BigQuery
- Enable reliable data aggregation and analysis
- Identify manual subprocesses throughout the value chain and automate them
- Establish an AI-first approach within the ERP and IT setup
- Ensure IT security and resilience throughout the order process
- Protect interfaces and data flows from disruptions
- Drive internal system ownership and the transformation toward an AI-driven technology landscape
Requirements:
- At least 3–5 years of solid professional experience in Data Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Development
- Ideally, experience in an e-commerce, scale-up, or technology environment
- An AI-first mindset and a strong interest in AI infrastructure
- High resilience, a strong bias for execution, a high degree of ownership, and a pronounced willingness to learn
- Solid experience administering or developing ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite or a comparable platform
- Good knowledge of cloud data warehousing, preferably Google BigQuery
- Practical software development/coding experience, for example with GitHub, Vercel, Postgres, or similar stacks
- An understanding of e-commerce, Shopify, and logistics order processes is a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
